Description
**UPDATES PLEASE THIS READ FIRST!
We are looking for people with skills in tropical permaculture / organic gardening / social media / photo / content creators to help us during the month on July :) Minimum stay 2 weeks.
We are Clarents and Victor and in the beginning of 2022 we decided to start a project with the focus on reforestation, permaculture, yoga and meditation. We are a completely organic homestead located in a rural area of Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica, quite isolated from the world.
What we love the most about being here is the silence and stillness which makes it a perfect place to recharge from the busy world around us. We have seen so much change in the wildlife and nature since we arrived, since we started to implement a more organic / biodynamic way of working with nature, and we are super excited to see what this will become in the future.
Our plan has always been to form some sort of tiny community here where we can live in harmony with ourselves, the people around us and the beautiful nature of Costa Rica.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Clarents is the local "Tico" of the house, 33 years old, born and raised in Costa Rica. He speaks Spanish and English and at the moment works online from our home. Victor is Swedish but has 4 years of living full-time in Costa Rica, he is 32 years old and speaks Swedish, Spanish & English. Victor works mainly with the project but also travels to teach yoga, meditation, breathwork and sound healing. In the future we would love to have small, intimate retreats here at out farm.
We love meeting new cultures and learn from all people around the world, new ways of living sustainable with oneself and the world around.
We have good relationships with the farms and locals around and sometimes they come to help us out at the farm.Aide
Depending on the time of year we need different forms of help. During the dry season Jan - April we might need help in building structures on the property, fixing and maintaining what we've already developed and preparation for the rainy season.
During the rainy season, May - Dec, the jungle grows a lot and much of our attention is put on keeping the weeds down, not allowing the jungle to take over our fruit trees. During this time we also are planting and reforesting.
Generally the work at the farm is quite physical. Working organically with nature is heavy for the body, so be prepared for that. We try to start our days early outside around 7am before the sun gets too strong around 10-11am.
General Tasks:
- Growing food in the greenhouse ( tomatoes, pumpkin, etc )
- Landscaping / planning the space through a permaculture / biodynamic eye
- Maintenance of house, cleaning, organising, painting, building, fixing
- Physical outside labor, maintaining the farm, pruning trees, gathering leaves, cut grass, create mulch, harvest fruits
- Cooking amazing vegetarian/ vegan food!
We give priority to people who already have skills/ experience in organic growing / permaculture / biodynamic ways of working with nature to share skills and exchange knowledge. Also if you have experience with tropical plants / nature this is very much appreciated. We are constantly learning and are open for this space to become a co-creative place!Langues parlées

At the moment we have one private room for volunteers with shared bathroom and shared kitchen. The room has a double bed and fits 1-2 people. We will all be living together in the main house on the property sharing the spaces.
We love cooking and we are both vegetarian so the kitchen is always a great place for us to come together and share <3Autres infos...
There is a direct bus that goes from San Jose to the closest bus stop (about 10 minutes away from us by car). We will pick you up with the car if you come with the bus.
San Jose - Closest bus stop about 3.5h journey.
From San Isidro, Perez Zeledon centre its about 30 min bus ride.
If you're coming with car it is necessary that is is 4x4 as the road into the property is pretty bumpy. We also recommend people to come as early as possible during the day, preferably before 1pm. When the afternoon rain starts the road in gets very slippery and wet!Informations complémentaires
