Description
Hi there. :) a little bit about our home, myself and our family. Our home is surrounded by nature in a beautiful Alpine valley, Upper Savinja Valley. We have a small tourist farm with 4 apartments, growing our veggies and taking care of few animals (chickens, rabbits, a dog). We are a family of 6. Grandparents, us and our kids, toddlers.
I personally worked through Workaway in New Zealand. This is how I got to know the spirit of it. I am also a Couchsurfer and a host and have hosted more than 50 travelers so far. I traveled a lot by myself, mostly backpacking.
I am a transpersonal cognitive therapist and a nonviolent communication practitioner - hosting workshops for women empowerment.
During the summer I am providing and organizing authentic experiences for the tourists of our farm - to deeper connect with themselves and nature. I am into yoga, mindful living, nature, dancing, connecting with people, simplicity and building a community.
Currently we would need help with cleaning, cooking, gardening, speaking in foreign language with toddlers. The help is related to our home/household. I dont know why it says on the profile that we need au pair help - because we dont. But as we have kids and we wouls be sharing the house, it is important for us, you get along with kids as well.
Infront of our house we have a field and garden and workawayers are free to pick/take whatever they wish. We also offer the car when available and bicycles (also electric ones) to discover the area.
I would prefer you are vegetarian since we are mostly vegetarians (my partner is not). We have chickens, rabbits and a dog so it is expected that you also like animals. -

A lot of options to enjoy the nature, lovely hosts.
An area with beautiful landscapes and a lot of possibilities for outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, kayaking, climbing,volleyball, tennis, skiing in the winter..). Also quite a lot of festivals in the area during the summer.
We have bicycles (also electric ones) which you can use for free. Also the car when available.
We also have our own garden with veggies. -

Private room with shared bathroom. Shared kitchen. Sometimes, if there is not top season - you can stay in one of the studio apartments which needs to be cleaned at your departure.
