Hi, I'm Zunair, I am from the UK and I'm back on workaway after a few great experiences in Europe.

I used to study Philosophy and after an eye-opening experience taking a mindfulness course, I am now looking for a grounding experience to slow down.

I think my friends would say I'm a mostly laid back, thoughtful and open-minded person. I would like to learn how to live in a more enriching way from people who have more knowledge and experience than I do. I am pretty neurodivergent and I am always looking to learn more about myself and those around me.

I run and I like to stay active, and I would be happy to contribute to whichever projects you’re working on. Through workaway I have experience working in permaculture gardens, preparing food in professional kitchens, landscaping, and volunteering for a wildlife NGO.

I also have some experience working with children and young people, and adults with learning difficulties. As a student I co-formed a ukelele teaching group for children from local schools, and I've tutored French, Maths and PRS to 10-18 year olds. I'm currently working on becoming a TEFL teacher.

I love to listen to music, iPhone photography, and playing the guitar. Recently I've been enjoying learning about different cultures and perspectives through film. I am no expert but I enjoy simple cooking too.
