I was originally born in Indonesia, then I moved to Singapore at the age of 15, where I then lived for the next 10 years of my life. Afterwards, I spent 7 years living nomadically, traveling across the world, before settling for a bit in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, in 2022.

Nonetheless, the travel bug has struck again since early 2023, after a huge period of transformation and growth, and I'm excited to see where my new wings will carry me this time :)

PROFESSIONAL / WORK-RELATED INFORMATION

At my core, I am an excellent communicator and organizer who also thrives in creative pursuits across multiple disciplines -- visual arts, performing arts, music, writing, event design, and more. I follow what excites me, and when I am committed to something, I execute all my tasks to a high standard, with a tendency towards perfectionism.

My primary talents and skill-sets fall under two major categories: Creative and Organizational.

I have experience and skills in the following:
- Dancing / Performing Arts
- Drawing, Painting, Illustration, and Graphic Design
- Event production
- Spreadsheets and databases
- Managing hospitality businesses (hostels, airbnbs, etc)
- Technical support for online events and festivals
- Music and Singing
- Copywriting
- Photography, videography, as well as photo and video editing
- Social media
- Web design

Aside from the above, I specialize in designing, organizing, and creating hybrid events and festivals that are both local and global, blending the scalability of online events with the immediacy of direct, in-person connections.

Most recently, I organized a hybrid event with multiple physical locations connected through the online space, called Muertecita. The main event took place in Mexico, but we had satellite locations in Singapore, Goa (India), and Quito (Ecuador).

I don't smoke and I don't drink alcohol (I also, strangely, don't drink coffee).

I am very open to learning new things and am usually a quick learner, so I'd be happy to help with things outside of those that I have prior/professional experience in :)

I am happy to cook and enjoy it especially when it's done communally, but I would not consider myself an expert in this area. I'm most happy to learn or assist, nonetheless :)

I consider myself to be a mishmash of artistry and pragmatism who enjoys contemplating human nature and its expressions. At its core, my motivations can be summarized in the following:

Creating beauty.
Communicating a message. Storytelling.
Creating a positive impact on the people around me.

I enjoy stimulating, mind-expanding conversations and shy away from small talk. I enjoy brainstorming and collaborating in creating something beautiful and meaningful. I believe that blessings and talents are gifts meant to be shared, and I am at my happiest when I feel that my gifts are put to good use.

I can be a perfectionist. It's both a blessing and a curse.

Despite having dabbled mostly in artistic endeavors professionally, I have a deep passion for languages, linguistics, psychology, anthropology, and spirituality. I staunchly believe in the notion that we are all spiritual beings having a human experience, and that the Divine lives within every one of us.

I get along best with deep, independent thinkers and quirky individualists who never follow blindly, whose opinions are dictated by none other than themselves. Old souls who never lose touch with their inner child. Articulate minds who communicate and express a healthy level of self-awareness, who practice honest self-reflection every now and then, who embrace their imperfections unashamedly and wholeheartedly.

A good sense of humor always helps, too :)

I believe that life is a school for the soul. That every encounter, no matter how minute or temporal, is meaningful. Contributes to the amalgam of energies, emotions, and experiences that make up who we are: parts of a whole, individually separate yet inextricably interconnected, dancing around and colliding against one another across all eternity. Helping one another along this universal journey we all share.

With every hello, comes the inevitable goodbye... until the next hello comes along. And the cycle continues.
