I'm an adventurer at heart, living life as a public school teacher for the last 18 years. I want to teach English in communities less traveled, places with fewer resources but rich in experiences. I'm a quiet person, easy going, and full of life stories. I have a graduate degree in Theology and a teaching license. It's a big world out there, and I want to see more of it!

I have a heart for at risk kids and young people in general who are needing encouragement and direction in life. I have been working in special education classes for 12 years, all ages. I have worked with some troubled kids who need the extra patience and compassion. I have studied to get a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language but have not yet completed the practice.

I have 3 adult sons, who are also aspiring world travelers. They dared to go to India with me when they were young. Two of them are fluent German speakers, but they didn't get the language gene from me. I have few hobbies: writing, journaling, photography and caring for my hybrid cat. I like spending time in nature solo, and seeing new places, and trying new food.
