I experience wonder in natural environments, contemplating the formation of landscapes, the intricate interplay of ecosystems, and the diversity of flora and fauna (tiny and tall). I am told Tasmania is glorious and I am keen to explore.

I often spend time 'playing' outdoors, building and maintaining gardens for habitat and vista, including fruits/herbs/vegetables where possible. I enjoy a good fire and burn off debris when the weather is favourable. I also engage in home restoration tasks to improve the beauty and functionality of my indoor space.

I am patient and considerate. I have been a teacher for 20 years, primarily supporting young children with additional needs. My daughter has just completed high school, and I am taking some long service leave.

Que habilidades tienes?

I have spent decades planning, creating and maintaining gardens for habitat and human consumption/enjoyment. Hundreds of hours of weeding, mowing, pruning, planting, harvesting....

I have painted many internal walls, used corking guns to apply countless tubes of gap filler, silicone and liquid nails, and done some simple timber construction and repairs.

I enjoy cooking and have experience making pastries (vegetable and sweet), flat breads and other treats (as well as regular meals). I make jams (usually rosella and mulberry) and dehydrate excess produce (mainly pineapples).

I can care for children of various needs.

I like to read, listen to music, watch movies and series (from comical anime to subtitled drama). I enjoy puzzles, sudoku and board games. I have a secret passion for organisation and de-cluttering.
