Hi, I am Sophia and I would like to meet the world after having spent 13 years behind a school desk, head buried in books. That is why I am taking a gap year. I want to re-orientate myself so I can figure out what I want to do next. I figured that traveling is the best way to gain new perspectives and meet inspiring people.
My parents always loved to travel and they took my two sisters and me on some pretty cool adventures when I was little. Now I want to do the adventure on my own.
I love to be outdoors in nature (especially in the woods) and to work with my hands. I am sporty and not afraid to get my hands dirty.
I have a great passion for art in its various forms (poetry, theater, pottery, dance) and philosophy.
I like to spend time alone but I also really enjoy having interesting and inspiring discussions.
I like it when things are tidy and organized and I am currently working on my ability to embrace spontaneity:)

I like to cook and bake and am also good at it. I have no problem with cooking vegetarian or vegan.
I used to work on a farm in my village and in my mothers permaculture garden, so I have some experience with outdoor work and am not afraid of hard work.
During two summers I worked for some weeks in a SAC hut (these are small huts in the Swiss Alps where hikers and climbers can stay).
I started riding when I was very little and had to stop 4 years ago because school became too time consuming and I didn't agree with the philosophy of the place where I was riding anymore. I generally like to work with animals.
