Hi im Simon (22) currently living and studying in Bremen. Im interested in music, football and politics. And I had a lovely time travlling via workaway, where I met wonderful people and learnt so much new skills. Because of my studies (psychology) the time i can spend for travelling is quite limited, so im looking for place where i can stay short-term and do some physical stuff like gardening, landscaping work :)

In my last time of travelling i mainly worked in gardens or places, which were planned to be a garden in the future. I have some experience with building fences, digging swales and little experience with maintaining trees. I really liked the physical work and i'm ready to learn more stuff.

I stayed for weeks in November 2022 with Claudia and Bart and had a great time! The five hours of work were quite intense, but this was totally fair, because I got so much back. Simon stayed with us for 4 weeks in November. He is friendly, responsible, works hard and knows how to handle a pick-axe. It was great to have him as a volunteer. Great attitude; serious, conscientious, reliable. Hated mornings but got himself up and started work even when I wasn't around ! Finished everything he started, took care to get it right, checked to see it was done right. Positive, interested, involved, did some very hard work with no complaints ( even after attempting to remove a finger with a… read more

I had a very pleasant time in october 2022 at Tim's place. I really enjoyed the basic way of living, this was calming down in so many ways. And Tim is a really great host: he has a great knowledge about permaculture and farming in general, so i learned every day something new. He is very open for new ideas and gives you a lot of freedom on the way… read more

I was for 2 weeks in september at Laura and Ninas place and I can highly recommend!
I was really enjoying my time there, because both are really nice and caring hosts. I also enjoyed the work, because I learned lots of new stuff and they are always open for requests in any way.
