I was born and raised in Southern Appalachia and am in love with the natural world. I enjoy working outdoors, speaking Spanish, growing food, exercising in the natural world, and helping to regenerate landscapes.

I am able to teach basics of English, being a native speaker. I love speaking Spanish! I have had Spanish classes all through my schooling, and have lived in Costa Rica for an extended time with lots of opportunity to practice. I am excited to travel in Spanish-speaking areas to practice as much as possible.

I have completed a Permaculture Design Course at Rancho Mastatal in Costa Rica, have my Wilderness First Responder certification, and have experience with tree work, woodworking, landscaping, gardening, welding, and generally working outdoors!

I love board games, quiet early nights, rich active days, sunshine and rain, travelling by foot, helping people with their passions and learning from them, playing music, reading, tidy living spaces, and spending unstructured time outdoors. I look forward to meeting people and exploring.
