Hi, my name is Sarah Jane and I am using this platform to find and gather experiences and knowledge surrounding farm life, sustainable living and connection. Going back to the roots, the rawness of life.
As I grow older, I am noticing patterns I have used to cope with modern world. I am drawn towards offline living, away from too much technology. I am on a personal quest to reconnect with my deep self and others.
Workaway experiences have allowed me to create space in my life to do honest work.
My best self is brought out by communal living.
I am looking to learn more about living on a ranch or a farm.
I am also looking for opportunities to connect with First Nations.

I am a certified Yoga teacher (200h). I am mainly focused on Hatha yoga and meditation. I am grateful to share the knowledge with any curious people.
I am also very fond of permaculture and have base knowledge in organic farming. I am very handy, confortable with tools and in good shape. I enjoy farm work and don't shy away from heavy duty tasks. I am currently completing my bachelors degree in environmental science and doing my thesis on community living as a solution to climate crisis.
When I have the opportunity, I love to connect with children, exploring new ways of learning such as Nature school. I am a believer of alternative teachings. I have been an educator on and off for the past 4 years. I have worked in a Montessori school and I am now working with children as a yoga teacher.
