Hello,

We are Sandra and Alex. Sandra is Slovenian and Alex is Romanian but we live in Ireland. Sandra has been volunteering before in Gambia, Australia, Nepal, Spain, Portugal and France, but Alex is new on Workaway and he would like to get in touch with the nature.
Sandra is an environmental engineer and Alex has studied accountancy, but we both work for the social media at the moment.

We like spending our free time travelling abroad, meeting new people and we like to enjoy different cuisines. We like nature, animals, long walks, good talk, watching movies with a nice glass of wine or driving around and exploring new places in Ireland. We live in busy Dublin and we would like to workaway somewhere away from the city and just live minimalistic and learn something new about the sustainable way of living.

We have experiences with gardening, planting the trees and veggies, painting, cleaning, building, taking care of the animals, children and general maintenance.

Our fun facts:
-Sandra grew up on the farm and she has experience with feeding farm animals and also milking the cows and goats :)
-Alex makes the best polenta & chips :)

Sandra stayed at our cat-rescue Center and helped with lots of tasks as we were in the process of moving. She helped with lots of painting which she did very accurate. Building a wooden cabin for some cats, laying a floor, building a roof and lots more. She is a very good team-worker, always friendly and polite.

Super Sandra!
Sandra stayed with us for 2 weeks in March.
She was a real asset, happy, hard working and enthusiastic.
She helped with some house cleaning, painting, dog walking and fencing our property.
Sandra was a pleasure to have around and was great with our 5 year old daughter.
A real positive workaway experience, I would highly recommend her.

Sandra had to leave early unexpectedly, we were sad to see her go, she was a great helper. She learnt very fast and was always cheerful and engaged. We would have her back anytime.

I stayed at Fiona's and Anton's place for 10 days and I liked that place so much. It was so peaceful and I needed exactly that. Mostly we were hoeing, weeding, picking and packing vegetables and fruit. Close to that place is beautiful lake and we were swimming there. I stayed at Scott's place 1 month and all I can say is: you have to go there, it's paradise with kangaroos on the earth. It was amazing, Scott is very friendly and good person, work is not hard (mostly cleaning the guest rooms, weeding, making the cheese, kambucha, etc). I spent 1 month there and it was awesome. They rescuing dogs, feeding them and trying to find new families for them. People are very friendly and I'm sure you will find new friends there. Namaste :)

Staying on the Fanny`s farm, was our first workaway experience. We have to say that Fanny, as our first host, made an excellent impression, how the workaway should look like. Sandra and Domen stayed for almost 2 weeks and every day was a pure pleasure to have them on the farm. Domen brought a big smile to our place and Sandra is such a kind person and showed so much love to my animals.
