Hi there! My name is Rosa, 32 years old, and I would describe myself as colourful, creative, sensitive and curious. Pink is my favorite color and I believe it is the color of my soul 😄🌸 My values in life are creativity, freedom, authenticity, connection, openness, personal growth and playfulness.

I graduated from the Design Academy in the Netherlands with two food related projects called "Stil Leven": a modern 3D interpretation of a Vanitas still life, and "Drents Big Vief"; a culinary bicycle safari. As a child it was my dream to become a farmer and my love for animals, farm life and food has always remained. I started studying design because I wanted to further develop my creativity. But these subjects always play a (big) part in my design work.

Now I want to discover more of the world, meet new people and find inspiration in places I don't know yet. The world has so much beauty to offer and I think it's a shame to stay in my own safe shell. I want to travel on my own, which is super exciting and a bit scary as well, but I strongly believe in the idea that you have to confront your fears and embrace them.

As a concept designer, I am an activist in an accessible and often humorous way, and I strive for dialogue through design about topics that can bring change (often food, animal and/or political related topics) The means I use are photography, writing, illustration, video and I like to dive into (history) books and nature for inspiration.

During my internship and subsequent jobs I developed myself professionally in the field of content creation, (online) marketing, storytelling and copywriting. Social media is something I don't use anymore, but I have experience working with it.

I have owned a cultural café together with my father and know a fair share about managing and organising. I cooked as well, but would love to gain more experience in that field 👩🏻‍🍳

I'm a team player, a quick learner and a good listener. I enjoy observing, but also love to learn by doing.

I want to further develop analogue skills, in nature. Working on a farm, actually talking to people (instead of communicating online), working with animals, gardening, working and creating with my hands. Psychical work is something I really enjoy doing.
Ideally, I can put my brain ánd body to work.

I absolutely love music, and listen to a lot of different genres (classical, reggae, jazz, punk, r&b, blues, bluegrass, opera, hiphop, Celtic, funk, soul, house, metal... the list goes on ✨) I love to dance and sing as well. I recently started to practice Voguing, which is one of the most empowering things I've ever experienced.

What else.... yoga, drawing, cuddling with animals (my fluffy cat Annie is my favorite), watch movies / series / documentaries, play games, read, cook and I also like to do crafts (embroidery, knitting, crocheting). Would love to learn more about crafting! 🧶
Being in nature and camping is also something I really enjoy doing 🍄🌿 I like to express myself through (colourful) clothing and I love tattoos.

I used to own a horse and enjoyed practicing natural horsemanship with her.

I love doing analog activities and by doing those things making a true connection with my body, thoughts and the people around me.

  Healthy eating, and taking care of my body, is something I'm passionate about and I avoid consuming too much (additive) sugar. I like to be conscious about the things that I eat. I'm also a vegetarian.
