Hello lovely people!

My name is Ronja, I´m 25 years old and I am currently living in a small city in Germany.

One of the things that drive me most in this life is connection- to nature & animals, to art, to other people, to myself and then trying to combine all of them somehow. This way of living has introduced me to loads of different passions over the past few years (like dancing, crocheting, tattooing, snorkeling, vegan cooking, drawing, yoga etc.) but it will also not stop me from discovering and learning about new ones.

Through workaway I am hoping to find experiences that provide me the space to expand my skillset, share my love for nature & creative things and give something back- to wildlife and the community:)

Since 2020 I have been volunteering in the field of wildlife conservation five times in both Greece and Tenerife as well as Bali, which meant getting out of my comfort zone (a lot), meeting new people from all over the world, sharing living spaces and getting accustomed to new- and often demanding- tasks all the time. At the moment I am working with the NGO Archipelagos in Greece as an intern of marine ecology for my university degree.
Back home in Germany I have had multiple low wage jobs in cafes, restaurants and shops, which got me very used to dealing with all kinds of different people.

I speak English and German fluently, I can understand quite a bit of Dutch (but speaking makes me nervous haha) and I am always open and interested in learning basic conversations in the country I am staying in.

Generally, I am a very open minded person and eager to learn more about sustainability, eco-farming and the science behind it, but also about spirituality, self-reflection and philosophy.
