Connecting with people is what brings me the most joy and fulfilment in life. With workaway, I am especially excited about the opportunity to meet and learn from people from different backgrounds and cultures to mine. My friends and family would describe me as a warm, sincere, optimistic, cheerful and adventurous person.

I am also a nature freak and frequently surf, hike or just run in nature. Furthermore, creativity is a big part of who I am. I am a trained pianist and passionate about drawing, design and photography. I find a lot of joy in little things around me and understanding myself better through art.

I am a recent mechatronics engineering graduate from the University of Cape Town. This has provided me with strong skills in web design, programming, digital media and sustainability. Throughout my studies I also did multiple volunteering jobs ranging from organising fundraising and marketing campaigns for NGOs to counselling vulnerable children through art and providing sustainable engineering solutions to rural communities. I like to utilise my creative and artistic skills whenever possible. I have also taught english to children in Indonesia where I incorporated my sports, musical and artistic backgrounds to make lessons more fun. From my volunteering experiences and living in South Africa, I have developed my skills in communicating and empathising with people from different backgrounds and cultures to mine.
