Hello! My name is Miku, and I’m from Japan.
I’m currently studying abroad in Denmark as part of my university program, where I’m focusing on　psychology. Living in another country has been an amazing experience and has taught me to be more adaptable, independent, and open to different cultures.

I would describe myself as open-minded, friendly, and responsible. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning about different ways of life. In my free time, I like cooking.

I’m happy to help with a variety of tasks such as gardening, cooking, cleaning, or taking care of children. I also have experience in language exchange.

Through Workaway, I’d like to continue learning and growing while contributing to the community I stay with. I also hope to improve my English (and maybe learn a bit of your local language!) while experiencing daily life in a new environment.

Yes! I’m very interested in both learning and teaching languages. I’m a native Japanese speaker, so I’d be happy to share my language and culture with anyone who is curious. At the same time, I’m eager to improve my English and also learn a little of the local language wherever I stay. For me, language exchange is not only about words, but also about understanding different ways of thinking and living. I really enjoy this cultural aspect of learning languages.

I am adaptable and always eager to learn new things. I may not be an expert in one particular field, but I am motivated, reliable, and happy to help wherever needed.

Some of my skills and experiences include:

Housekeeping and cooking: I can help with cleaning, organizing, and preparing simple meals.

Childcare: I enjoy spending time with children and can assist with playing, studying, or general care.

Gardening and outdoor work: I have basic experience with gardening and don’t mind physical tasks.

Language exchange: I can share Japanese language and culture, and I am enthusiastic about practicing English (and learning your local language too!).

Teamwork: Through university projects and volunteering, I have developed strong communication and collaboration skills.

Above all, I am flexible, positive, and always ready to contribute my energy and time to support my hosts.

In addition to what I’ve already shared, I’d love to mention some of my hobbies and interests. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going for walks or cycling, and I also like cooking simple meals and trying new recipes.

I really enjoy playing board games and card games with friends, especially games like Uno, Jenga, and Codenames. I find games are a fun way to connect with people from different backgrounds.

I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and taking photos of daily life and nature. I’m always curious to try new activities, whether it’s learning a local tradition, trying a sport, or simply sharing stories.

Overall, I’d say I’m an open-minded and curious person who enjoys both quiet moments and social activities.
