Greetings, fellow human beings!
I find myself currently in this wonderful opportunity to travel and meet new people from all walks of life. So far I have been wwoofing (wwoof.es) in a small family farm at the foothill of the beautiful Pyrenees mountains doing some gardening and mostly taking care of the animals due to an accident in the family, recently I was helping with various maintenance and repair tasks in a future spiritual center in Mijas, and right now I am doing various construction and repair/maintenance things in another future spiritual center in El Morche :)
After a lengthy career in the business world I wanted to do something quite different, something that is tangible and contributes to the well-being of all of us with the respect for our beloved Mother Earth and her thriving very much in mind as well. I have raised three wonderful children, who are currently living on their own. I have also had the pleasure of taking care of dogs for over two decades, and while doing that I was involved in associations around dogs too.
So because I have received so much from life I would be delighted to be able to help those of you in need of many different kinds of assistance; with my experience in many fields I believe I can be an asset to you be it gardening/farming, home improvement, help in your business activities, English skills, (eco)tourism projects, sustainable community building and development, family care/housekeeping/cooking, or starting and running a spiritual centre/retreat facility.
I come from a Finnish family of origin including parents plus four of us children, so I've learned to share and do my part in all household work. I appreciate doing things and keeping the house and surroundings in an orderly fashion for everyone's comfort, safety and ease in e.g. finding tools to use always in the same place :)
I have developed my English skills in business as primary or secondary language for 15 years, and having lived in USA for almost two years I've used it as home language for about four years.
Spain has always been close to my heart ever since my early years and first tourist trips. Recently I have had the privilege of being able to spend many months here, and perhaps one day I can call it my home. I have visited or lived in Finland (my country of origin), Spain, USA, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Greece, France, Lithuania, Estonia, Serbia/Montenegro (Yugoslavia back then ;), Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland (did I forget something haha).
I am used to and enjoy both extended periods of solitude and quiet environment, as well as the buzzing of lively towns, places of business and family life. I keep myself fit physically with daily exercise and manual labour and good food, as chemical-free and organic/natural as possible; and mentally/emotionally fit with living life in a mindful way.
I would very much like to hear what you have in mind that we could do together!
