Hi! Lovely to meet you, and thanks for stopping by our profile!

We’re Karina and Luke, both in our 30s, living in London, UK. Luke was born and raised in the UK, while Karina’s journey has been a bit more adventurous—she grew up in the Philippines, moved to the USA, and finally settled in London.

We’re a laid-back couple, quick to adapt, and we’ve been traveling together since 2018. In early 2024, we spent a month in the Philippines, reconnecting with locals and exploring. We stayed on a farm in Bohol and helped feed animals; we spent time with kids, and did beach clean-ups in Malapascua; and we stayed with a family in Pamilacan and got to know the whole island! We love meeting people, learning about their cultures, and exploring new places.

About Us

Luke
Luke is outgoing and great with people, whether fellow travellers or locals. On our recent trip to the Philippines, he put in a real effort to learn the language and make everyone feel at ease. His career has been varied, from security to IT, and even delivery, allowing him to travel for work. Currently he is IT specialist. Luke’s adaptable and easy to get along with.

Karina
Karina is passionate about cooking and loves trying new recipes, from rice dishes to fresh tacos. She began as a chef in LA and occasionally works as a private chef in London. Her main career, however, is event design, planning everything from elegant weddings to intimate dinners. Karina has also worked in various hotel roles, from front desk to operations. She loves creating memorable experiences and bringing ideas to life.

• Hotel reception, meet & greet guest
• Bar work
• Manual tasks (cleaning, painting, basic repairs, gardening)
• Tech savvy, Luke is an IT wizard
• Child minding
• Teaching English
• Administrative work
• Branding and creative work (social media, graphic design)
• Karina speaks both Tagalog and English and Luke speaks fluent English.

Luke can ride motorcycles and also teach English in basic lessons.
