Hi! We're Louise and Jo - a friendly and hardworking married couple from Dorset, UK and currently preparing for an exciting adventure in Canada. We fly into Calgary on 29th July and have our working holiday visas secured.

We currently work as a Police Officer and Paramedic but are ready for a new adventure and have decided that we'd love to give life in Canada a go. We've very much used to hard work and long-hours and love helping people and getting stuck-in.

We love the outdoors and exploring nature, and Canada's landscapes and way of life are a big part of what drew us there so we're excited to experience as much of it as we can.

We're big animal lovers and would be more than happy to help out with any animal care. Getting muddy, lending a hand with physical work or helping around the house - whatever is needed, we're happy to get stuck in. We'd love to help out on a farm or anywhere where we can enjoy the outdoors.

We're easy going and very reliable and are keen to learn new skills and meet people along the way. We're excited about learning new cultures and embracing other people's lifestyles.

When we’re not working, you can usually find us dog walking/hiking, lifting heavy things in the gym or enjoying food! We thrive when experiencing new things and love travelling.

Our professional backgrounds as a Police Officer and Paramedic have given us a strong practical and adaptable skill set that we bring to any environment.

We're both highly reliable and used to working in fast-paced environments. Problem-solving, staying calm under pressure and thinking on our feet are second nature to us. We're confident making decisions and work well independently or as part of a team.

We have excellent people skills and are comfortable communicating with people from all walks of life and of all ages. Our current roles mean that we are hands-on and not afraid of hard work. We're physically fit, happy to take on manual tasks, quick to learn new practical skills and take real pride in doing a job to the best standard.
