Hey everyone! 🌞
nice to meet you!

My name is Lara, I’m 24 years old and from Germany.

👩🏼that's me:
I studied social work in Germany for 3 years in an dual system between work and university. during my studies I worked in an orphanage with girls and boys with autism and other mental illnesses. After I finished my studies last year in October I moved to Switzerland and worked in an Institution in for Women who need help. .

🌍 traveling:
I started traveling in May 2025. since then I made my way trough Central America, traveled Europe and Morocco with my campervan and now I am solo backpacking trough South east Asia.
I’m adventurous, spontaneous and curious. I hitch hiked trough Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. I love meeting people, getting to know their stories, new cultures and traditions.

Experiences:
I already worked in a guest house in Portugal for 5 weeks, helping in the service and taking care of the children.
Also I volunteered in a Hostel in Cambodia where I helped taking care and maintaining the surrounding 🌸

🤍
I decided to do a Workaway, because I don't only want to see nice places and touristic spots.
I am looking for families, projects, working on farms or in every kind of place where need is help with nice open minded people and cultural exchange. I would love to meet new people all over the world, help develop social projects, help house sitting and everything including child care.
My strength is creativity work and child care, but I'm totally open to get to experience new kind of work.

🇩🇪🇪🇸🇬🇧🇫🇷 I speak German and English fluently and learned French and Spanish in school. I really want to improve my French and Spanish :)

Im a Young and spontaneous, open minded girl.

I enjoy working with children, teaching English or just doing fun activities together. But I'm very spontaneous and flexible to get to know other kind of works aswell.

🐷🐼🐨 I don't eat meat since 12 years now and got vegan 7 years ago. That's why I also have a heart for animals.

But I also really want to get to know other cultures and help developing new projects or ideas.

🌿 I’m not afraid to hard work and get dirty while working in the garden. I grew up with a big garden where me and my brothers got included in gardening work. But I have to be honest, I love being in the nature and doing gardening work, but I don't have a huge knowledge about gardening and farming, but I really want to learn more about it.

🎨 I would describe myself as creative as I love doing arts, music, painting and everything creative. I'm always motivated for creative projects.

I lived for my own for several years and due to my studies and work experiences I know what’s Like to be responsible and take over responsibility.

I love to spend time with ne people, get to know family cultures and traditions.

👩🏼‍🍳I really enjoy cooking and Im interested in healthy food. I’m vegetarian for 12 years now, but I don’t mind if there’s meat in the kitchen.

🎨🎹I enjoy doing music, playing the piano and currently working on my ukulele skills.
I’m totally in for playing board games or doing fun activities :)
