Hello! We are a couple from Copenhagen, Denmark, who wants to trave to New Zealand in our gap year. We both graduated from highschool this summer, where our main topics where social studies, mathemathics and business.

Here is som information about te two os us:
Lærke:
Im an 20 year old woman from Copenhagen. I just finished high school and are now travelling in my gap year. I love animals and i have had my own horse for more than 7 years and a lovely dog. Besides that i am an outgoing person who loves to chat. I have experience working as a horse back riding teacher and as manager in a danish burger chain called Jagger.

I would love to travel to New Zealand because of the beautiful nature and the culture. What i admire even more about NZ is that, everyone you ask, tell you that the people who lives there is so nice and open to strangers. Which is a bit of af parallel to Copenhagen, where many poppe is often reserved at first.

Kristian:
I am an 18 yder old boy from a small town outside of Copenhagen called Trørød. I have grown up with being a scout, which has maden me love nature, hiking and camping. I have also played different instruments since i was five. The longes lasting being drums, Guitar and piano. Proffesionally i have been a waiter, worked at a kindergarten and been taking care of the elderly.

I went to new zealand for three months with my family when i was 14 years old, and i would love to revisit New Zeland to explore more of the beautuful nature, nteract with new and nice people

I love to knit, crochet, sew, listen to music and watch football with my friends

Kristian:
Graduated highschool with social studies and business as my main topics
I have been scout leader for seven years
Played music for ten years (guitar drums and piano)
Experience as a waitor at a cafe and at private events
Employed in Rudersdal Commune as a person who takes care of the elderly. That includes: personal supervision, care and day to day chores at their houses.
I love music, football, being with my family and friends and to explore new cultures and nature.

We are a young couple, who is very open to new challenges.

We love exploring new places and cultures, by going on hikes, bike-rides, camping, watching historical buildings or doing fun activities.

We enjoy watching football, especially the english Premier League and the Danish Superliga, and sometimes we like going to the stadium to watch the local team FC Copenhagen play.

We are very enthusiastic and eager to learn and help with different challenges, problems and posibilities.

In school, our field of study were, social studies and business, so we are very interested in global politics and sociology.

We also enjoy music and love going to concerts with our friends and family. The biggest experience being Coldplay last summer.

We want to travel to New Zealand, to spend time abroad and learning about other cultures, but also to learn more about ourselves during our gap years.


Lastly we love to enyoy cozy nights with friends and family, where we often play bordgames, cooks food or goes out partying in the Copenhagen night life.

We would love to intruduce you to the danish word "hygge" when we get to meet you!
