Hi! I’m Joyce from Taiwan, 24 years old. I’m passionate about traveling, creating, and meeting new people.
Currently, I’m on a working holiday in Melbourne, and before I return to Taiwan in mid-February, I’d love to spend some time in Brisbane or nearby areas while lending a helping hand.

During my student years, I interned at a nonprofit organization focused on children's welfare and a social enterprise dedicated to preserving local culture. Additionally, I worked as a helper at a brunch cafe and guesthouse in a popular coastal tourist destination in Taiwan. These experiences have given me a broader and more open perspective, as well as essential knowledge and skills as a working holiday helper, enabling me to quickly adapt to different environments.

I studied Communication and History in university and have worked as a TV journalist and editor.
I also love animals and enjoy learning about different cultures. If you’re interested in Asian culture or learning Mandarin, I’d be happy to share fascinating stories with you!

1️⃣Social media management, photography, and video editing: I’ve worked as a journalist and editor and continued translating English news articles for a Taiwanese cycling media platform during my travels.
2️⃣Household chores: Working in busy Australian restaurants has made me efficient and adaptable.
3️⃣Kitchen assistant and hotel housekeeping: I’ve gained hands-on experience in a brunch cafe and guesthouse in Taiwan.
4️⃣Pet care:I love animals and have cared for hamsters and dogs, and I’m eager to learn more about caring for other pets.
5️⃣Childcare: I have experience looking after my younger sister and volunteered as an after-school tutor for primary school students.
6️⃣Helping with Mandarin practice: I’ve taught Mandarin basics to others, including how to introduce themselves, and most importantly, how to order drinks in the home town of bubble tea!
