Hello everyone, my name is Jessica Reiniger, and I am an enthusiastic individual who absolutely loves exploring new places whilst meeting fascinating people. I find fulfilment in nurturing new connections whilst maintaining a strong bond with my loved ones, and believe every person has something to offer, big or small. My friends describe me as a bright light, someone who loves to be creative, whilst upholding an active routine.

Additionally, I am a passionate believer in justice and equality amongst society, including the world and planet Earth that we all live on. Two years ago, I was privileged enough to do an exchange semester in Germany, where I was enthralled with the community, the locals and the local environment there. This experience and my other travels to Switzerland as a local Swiss Australian have moulded my ever-growing intrigue about the outside world.

Ultimately, I am a very artsy person, always on the lookout for a new hobby whilst making sure I am being present and grateful for any opportunity or chance that I get. If you are looking for such a workawayer, I would be more than happy to get in contact :)

My skillset includes differing emotional and physical expertise. I have just completed my HSC in Australia, and throughout my time at school, I have been awarded many prestigious acknowledgments, such as The Duke of Edinburgh Award for levels Bronze and Silver, illustrating my commitment to the local community through volunteering and completing 2 outdoor adventure journeys. Alongside these achievements, I have been acknowledged academically for coming first in my Legal Studies and Visual Arts courses. The list continues with the awards, the Long Tan Award for leadership in 2023 and the Reuben fr Scarf commitment award in 2024, given to a year 11 student who always tries their best. The acknowledgment of my academic success is attributed to my effort throughout the years and can also be credited to my ambitious nature.

While I was juggling school work, sporting commitments such as volleyball and Netball, I also began working in year 7. I have now been working at that job, a local bakery, Moruya French Hotbread Bakery, for 5 years. This workplace has built a foundation of confidence in my communication skills and sparked my love for people, as well as teaching me patience and kindness in a fast-paced environment. Now I have attained basic barista skills, complying with food handling standards and always maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace. My employee has even trusted me in taking on an unofficial manager role where I help train up any new employees, teaching them in a kind yet professional manner on everything the job entails, whilst even being left to open and close the business with a younger employee.

Then I decided to get another job in a more professional scene, Moruya Pharmacy, where confidentiality and customer comfort were our top priority. I was at this job for close to 3 years. Through working with vulnerable people, I have been able to cater to different needs, recommending products and attempting to put a smile on everyone's face.

When I'm not at school or at one of my commitments, I also help out at home, hanging up the laundry, doing dishes, cleaning or cooking a meal and taking the family dog, a black Labrador named Luna, for a walk, who often needs a little convincing to exercise.
Ultimately, I believe I am quite an adaptable individual who will give it my all with every task given.

I am an avid puzzler who has hosted a puzzle night for friends, as well as being a movie lover. I love to draw things, paint and use watercolour in my process aswell as dancing and singing with friends :)
