Hello! My name is Hjalte and I am a happy, creative and optimistic 20 year old man from Denmark. I come from a small village in the middle of nowhere called "Skibbild-Nøvling", where I grew up with my 2 parents, 1 older sister, and 2 younger siblings, and a lot of cats over the years!
As of now, I am taking a gap year from my studies, and would love to find a nice place to help out! I love travelling and meeting new people and cultures, cause there is just something so gratifying in learning about other people and how they live their lives.
In my free time I like to write and produce music, as well as fictional writing, drawing, and really anything to do with art and expression.
I also love spending time in nature and connecting with myself and the natural world through that. I especially love hiking in mountains, for there is nothing better than getting to see the beautiful view from the top!
I'm super interested in renovating and farming, since those are skills that I would love to have with me in my life. Being able to take care of yourself in a more natural way is so admirable, and I've always seen it from the outside and wanted to know all about it!
I also have a love for cooking and making the people around me happy with the food I make. And I'll make sure to introduce any odd dishes from Denmark to anyone I meet :)).

Que habilidades tienes?

I have finished high school in Denmark. I succeeded well in all my classes, but my favourite subjects were math, English, music, multimedia, and natural sciences.
After high school, I got into a music school as a songwriter, producer and composer. I finished the first year and I am now taking a gap year, but expect to return to my studies in August of 2025.

I have worked in service for 2 years combined, in a restaurant, a hospital and a thrift store. My abilities in service range from cleaning, organising, cooking, doing laundry and stock-filling, to customer support, placing orders, serving, and problem-solving in the workplace when things go awry.
I have also worked as a caretaker for a 3-year old boy over a half year period, as well as taking care of my younger siblings through many years. My abilities there are feeding, changing, cooking, bathing, and so on.
This is also my 4th year living by myself, so I have significant abilities with managing a house/living space, such as aforementioned laundry, cooking, cleaning, and so on.
At home I have also helped around the garden with farming and general maintenance, which I've enjoyed very much.
