Hey, I'm Jo!

I’ve been moving and shaking my way through various jobs and places since I was 19! For the last few years I’ve been in Glasgow, where I studied art and completed a course in Holistic Therapies.
I'm currently working and travelling in New Zealand, with plans to head on to Tasmania and then the East Coast of Australia.

I've got a zest for life and I love having fun! I like being in the sea when the suns out and in the forest after it rains. Last summer I tried surfing and I have been craving the buzz again since! I have a passion for good food and love seeking out great eateries in new places. I've got a weakness for warm pastries! I enjoy black coffee in the mornings and red wine by a fire.

Tattoos and poetry are my favourite types of art. I like using my hands to create things! It would be cool to experiment with pottery and learn how to make pasta. I'm trying to master the handstand and I want to learn some basic parkour!
I love the thrill of fast bike rides and loud music but balance out the excitement with easy mornings and interesting books.

I’d like to find the time and space to learn new knowledge and skills, dedicate some time to meditation and grow as an individual, while connecting with nature and new people.

Que habilidades tienes?

I'm creative and practical. I like using my hands along with my eye for detail and I enjoy completing things with a sense of satisfaction.

Most of my work experience has been in hospitality and retail - I enjoy interacting with cool new people and take a lot of pride in providing a quality service. I've been branching into new kinds of jobs more recently as I've grown to love being outdoors.

I've spent a season teaching watersports and this summer I've been gardening. Inbetween times I done a bit of roofing, while making some natural skincare products and trying to learn the mandolin. I definitely like variety and I'm most engaged when I'm using my body and my mind together.
