Hi there! So great to meet you! I am Grace from Boston, MA! I am in my second year of university at Harvard where I am studying Education and Arts!

for workaway hosts: I would be extremely grateful for the opportunity to stay with you and help out however I can. I love working with kids (I have a little brother and sister who I love spending time with) and would be happy to also help out with your kids should you need it! I have also been interested in baking and farming (in addition to many other things) since I was very young and would love to learn more about those topics and practice them with you and your family!

As background on me and my experiences:

I am a student, a designer, an empathizer, a changemaker, and an explorer. I’ve grown up with a curious spirit, an eye for design, and a creed to live a life that puts adventure first.

Working with a wonderful family would be a powerful place for me to deploy my skills, helping you grow your family and initiatives. I use the power of empathy to create meaningful experiences at the intersections of individual and shared human experiences.

I have a unique set of qualifications and a passion for creating experiences with people and in nature. As context, my educational and experiential work includes Honors-level sociology, education, urban design, landscape design, architecture, and interior design work at UC Berkeley, Cornell, Stanford, and MIT. I’m driven to explore how people and spaces interact, and to apply interdisciplinary knowledge about architecture and space design to optimize how individuals and groups live and create experiences that resonate.

Before starting Harvard, I took a gap year during which I worked with 4 workaway families. I loved it so much and am eager to get to know more people this coming summer through workaway!

Should you bring me on board, I look to collaborate with you all to help ensure that curiosity, humility, and empathy are not bolt-on behaviors, but are instead second-nature components of the experience.

I have 6+ years of childcare experience and have worked with kids 4 months-18 years old. Most recently, I took a gap year before starting my studies at Harvard where I au paired with 4 different families across the world through workaway and have since done a year and a half of childcare in Boston while at school.

I have years of childcare and tutoring experience both with my own family and as a side job while I was in high school. I would be grateful for the opportunity to work with your family!

I am extremely passionate about photography. I use photography as a literal and figurative lens for engaging with my surroundings. Through the images I create, I seek to spark reflection, discussion, and connection, helping others explore and understand the interconnected web of their individual and shared human experiences. I have won a few awards for my work and would love to show you!

I love to sing! I have been singing since I was very young. Anyone know guitar? I would love to learn!

I am a foodie! I will eat anything and would love to exchange recipes with you!

I’m also all about creating experiences for myself and the people I am with. I am passionate about making the world a classroom and learning from people and experiences and art and culture. I am eager to bring this passion for experience creation to you and your family!
