Hello, I'm Furkan. I'm someone who enjoys being close to nature, working with animals, and using computers. I am 24 years old (2024) and my house was destroyed after the earthquake in Turkey, this experience encouraged me to explore life more deeply and interact with different cultures. Now, I'm on the lookout for new adventures and hoping to gain valuable experiences along the way.

Originally, I planned to stay for just one month, but I ended up staying for three! The warmth and kindness of Wibke and Michael made me feel so welcome that I simply couldn't leave. This became the longest I’ve ever stayed with a host, and I truly felt at home

How do I summarize these six weeks together with Furkan? First of all it was not a normal workaway experience since I had broken my leg and was in desperate need of help concerning more or less everything. Luckily Furkan came with just two days notice and what would I have done without him!
