Hi there, I’m Frédérique but I often go by Fred to most. I’m a 27 year old French Canadian with a Sociology degree and a diverse work experience such as disability caregiver, support worker, student behavioural management and customer service. I’m driven by a deep desire to connect with people, understand their unique perspectives, and make a positive impact on their lives. My background has taught me the value of empathy and communication, and I find motivation in helping others overcome challenges, whether it’s someone’s personal growth or simply providing a helping hand. I believe that each interaction offers a chance to learn and grow, and this fuels my passion for meaningful work that can contribute to the greater good. I find happiness in exploring the outdoors, whether it’s hiking through breathtaking landscapes or enjoying live music in the presence of nature. Cooking and trying new foods also brings me joy, as I love discovering the culinary diversity of different cultures. Film photography and videography are a more recent creative pursuits, allowing me to capture moments and memories along the way. Yoga, pilates and meditation help me stay grounded and balanced, while my love for animals keeps me connected to the simple and joyful things in life. Whether I’m walking through a new city, snowboarding down a mountain, or just appreciating the beauty around me, I’m constantly inspired by the world’s diversity and the connections I make along the way.
G’day, I’m Joël but most people call me Joe. I’m 27 years old, French Canadian, and Frédérique’s partner. I am a passionate individual with a love for sports, the outdoors, music and DIY projects. What motivates me is the opportunity to make a positive impact on other’s lives, especially through building or creating something that improves their daily experiences. Whether it’s through hands on projects, like home renovations, crafting custom pieces or even small acts of services, I find deep satisfaction in knowing my work contributes to someone else’s wellbeing. I’m also driven by fostering meaningful relationships, valuing connections with friends, family and my partner Frédérique, as these bonds bring purpose and joy to my life. Nature plays a key role in my motivation as well, its beauty and serenity inspire me to stay grounded and fuelled by a sense of adventure and balance. What brings me happiness if spending quality time with my family and Frédérique, enjoying the outdoors, and staying active through sports, which keeps me energized and connected to both my physical and mental health. Whether on a hike, on my bike, or skiing down the mountain, these moments of movements and shared experiences are essential to my wellbeing.

Frédérique: I have developed a diverse skill set through my experience in manual, outdoor labour, which includes gardening, landscaping, and maintaining outdoor spaces. I’ve worked on a variety of projects, from planting and caring for gardens to ensuring outdoor areas stay clean and well-organized. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable experience looking after animals and children, where I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and attention to detail. My skill set also extends to household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and cooking, where I ensure a clean, organized environments and prepare nutritious meals. This combination of physical work, caregiving, and practical tasks has helped me build a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors, animals, and the people that I care for.
Joël: I bring a diverse skill set and hands-on expertise that spans welding, construction and a variety of personal projects. With strong welding capabilities, I have the confidence to build metal structures for both functional and aesthetic purposes. In construction work, I am experienced in carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting and finish work, enabling me to effectively transform spaces while balancing design with practicality. Additionally, my personal projects such as van conversions, custom bicycle builds, and garden construction brings out and demonstrate my creativity, problem solving abilities and resourcefulness. My broad skill set and hands-on approach makes me a versatile asset for any project and i’m eager to share my time and skills with you.
