Hello! Some things that motivate me are my sweet dog, Laika, always knowing that there's something new to learn every day, and being able to live through new experiences and meet new people. After getting my degree in sustainability with a minor in textile development I've been motivated to meet more like minded people who share the same passions as I do and are willing to share the knowledge we have!
My dog is currently very well trained. She is kennel trained and has great recall. She was sent to "bootcamp" to work out her kinks a couple years ago and I've been working hard to keep up her training. She is more than happy to sleep all day or join the day long adventure, I lucked out in that way.

I grew up in a Bosnian speaking household so I'd always like to show someone what I grew up speaking! Bosnian is a similar language to Croatian/Serbian and it easily can be adjusted to other Slavic languages. I studied Japanese for 5 years. Although I do not study it often anymore I have retained a great deal of what I learned and am willing to share! I'm interested in learning any language. I have been tinkering with Spanish. I'd like to learn Russian, French, or anything really! There's so much power in learning a new language.

I've worked and have trained with dogs for roughly two years. Because of this I've become confident with almost any animal. I understand boundaries and what an animal may or may not need from me just from their body language. I also grew up with chickens and a horse so I am not unfamiliar with farm animals.
I'm fascinated by textile development and anything a household is working towards to becoming more sustainable. My mother is a seamstress and I learned a lot from her growing up as well as on my own in my earlier adult years.
I was an intern for an Arizona based enterprise called The Bra Recyclers, where I expanded their mission to title 1 schools, in order to provide easy access to unused donated undergarments for students and their families. I also grew their network to other neighborhood organizations looking to support underserved communities in the area.
Being the only girl in the house growing up, I was the only "son" my dad had to call for help. I ended up being pretty comfortable with tools and being handy with electrical tools. I've built skateboard ramps in my past time and have done some house renovations as well.
I am not by any means shy to try something new, I'm open minded to the ride.

I'm an outdoor cat! I like biking, skateboarding, hiking, kayaking, and just general exploration. I also like video games. board games, and card games.
I also love movies! My dad was a huge movie buff when I was growing up so I love being able to share that activity with other people
