Hey everyone, my name ist Emilia!
I'm from Germany and I graduated from school this summer, which means that I now have the opportunity to travel the world and, above all, to visit the country again by my own where I went on vacation with my parents a few years ago - Australia.
I admit that I fell a little bit in love with the country, the open people, the wonderful nature and the diverse wildlife.
I would describe myself as an open-minded, emphatic and ambitious person. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, I am interested in other countries and cultures and sport is also an important part of my life. I used to play volleyball, where I experienced how strangers became friends, which is what I hope to experience on my trip as well.
My plans aren´t very specific yet, but I am looking forward to the new experiences and meeting other people and to traveling to the other side of the world.

For more than a year I’ve worked in a restaurant to gain money and to experience the working life, where I learned how to communicate with strangers, working in a team as well as being organised and attentive the whole time. I was also able to do an internship at a social therapy center, where I learned to appreciate being healthy and my interest in the social field and helping others grew even stronger. Plus, I had contact with children at the children's sports school, where I was not only able to expand my experience in dealing with children, but also pursue my hobby of sports. For many years I played volleyball and I also was part of a swimming club for a long time. I like being outdoors with my family and friends and it doesn’t bother me to get my hands dirty.
I would describe my character traits in the following words: empathetic, helpful, caring for others, orderly, open-minded and ambitious.
