Hi everyone!
My name is Elia, I'm 26 years old from Northern Italy, and this is my best buddy Kuma, 1 year old Ridgeback puppy. Together we are traveling in our converted van. We are going to drive throughout the Iberian Peninsula to reach a warmer climate down south, looking for the best spot where to spend the winter in a peaceful environment and in harmony with Nature.

We are adventurous travelers and nature lovers. I am very passionate about plants and gardening and willing to learn more about permaculture. I worked as a gardener lately and I can say I love taking care of plants, it is a never ending learning process, so fascinating to me.
I also love taking care of animals, dogs and cats in general but open to learn more about other farming animals as well.

I would describe myself as an easy going, open minded and enthusiastic person who loves staying in touch with Mother Nature and I am quite sociable too if I find the right environment that suits me.

Since when I graduated from Tourism school, I've had different jobs in this field such as barman, receptionist and tour guide, where I could practice and improve my language skills. Languages are another of my passions, I think speaking more than one language is the best way to connect with people around the world and get to know different cultures from our native ones.

I'd love to share my knowledges and my skills to anyone willing to host me and my beloved dog, as said before we have our own home-on-wheels where to sleep, we just need a parking spot and we are ready to help you!

MORE ABOUT MY DOG

Kuma is a large breed dog and still has to reach his full growth, he’s just like a son and requires constant attention and care. He is a cute and lovely dog, very devoted and sensitive. He constantly would love human affection and company, even though this is not always possible.

I’m trying to raise him in the best way I can, we went to training courses and got the foundation of his education but sometimes he still shows his stubborn part of being a puppy.
Of course, he is very playful and energetic and needs to release his energy with long walks or playing free in fields or beaches when possible.

Overall he is a vey good and kind dog, used to live with other dogs and cats (we have other two older dogs and eight cats at home) so he is very sociable and very eager to play with everyone.

He has never attacked other dogs and never showed interest in fighting. He is always very curious of meeting every other animal, donkeys and horses included (I guess he feels like one of them sometimes haha). I call him the gentle giant. He barks very rarely only to those who he doesn’t know and out of his territory.

I’m sure he has a lot of love and affection to offer to anyone willing to open his heart to him and share a little bit of our journey together. I am responsible for him and always very careful, I’ll make sure he’ll never cause any problems at your property and hopefully everything will run out smoothly.
