Hi everyone!
We are Elia & Ayeshah, a young couple from Northern Italy, and this is our best buddy Kuma, a 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Together we are traveling in our converted van. We are going to drive throughout the Iberian Peninsula, looking for the best places where to spend the winter in a peaceful environment and in harmony with Nature. We love Spain and are fluent in Spanish as we had the opportunity to work and live there during the last year.

We are adventurous travelers and nature lovers. We are very passionate about plants and gardening and willing to learn more about permaculture. Elia also worked as a gardener and loves taking care of plants, it is a never ending learning process, so fascinating to him.
We both love cooking Italian dishes and sometimes end up in a competition for this, we can let you decide who is the best!
We love taking care of animals, dogs and cats in general and are open to learn more about other farming animals as well. We speak a few languages and think speaking more than one language is the best way to connect with people around the world and get to know different cultures from our native ones.

AYESHAH defines herself as a calm, empathic and caring person. She is open minded and loves to push herself out of her comfort zone. She is mother tongue English and her study backgrounds are in social health and tourism, with mainly experience in touristic accommodations although she has had lots of babysitting jobs as also years as a lifeguard. She is a crazy animal lover and feels a strong need to be in contact with Nature.

ELIA describes himself as an easy going, open minded and enthusiastic person who loves staying in touch with Mother Nature and also quite sociable if he finds the right environment that suits him. He is a watersport freak, always catching possibilities to go surfing.
He graduated from Tourism school and has had different jobs in this field such as barman, receptionist and tour guide, where he could practice and improve his language skills, in fact languages are another of his passions, he is always in the learning process.

We'd love to share our knowledges and skills to anyone willing to host us and our beloved dog, as said before we are vanlifers, with our own home-on-wheels where to sleep, we just need a parking spot and we are ready to help you!

MORE ABOUT OUR DOG

Kuma is a large breed dog and is like a son for us. He requires constant attention and care. He is a well behaved, cute and lovely dog, very devoted and sensitive. He constantly would love human affection and company, even though this is not always possible.

We went to training courses where we learnt how to educate him in different circumstances as we're trying to raise him in the best way.
Thanks to our way of traveling we got to know him even better as in the last year we have lived a very dynamic life. He is very playful and energetic and needs to release his energy with long walks or playing free in fields or beaches when possible. He can also be stubborn and lazy.

Overall he is a vey good, loving and kind dog. We call him the gentle giant. He has never attacked other dogs and never showed interest in fighting as we raised him with other dogs and cats. He also got to meet chickens and lots of other pets on our trips!

He is curious, sociable and very eager to play with everyone. He barks very rarely only to those who he doesn’t know and out of his territory.

I’m sure he has a lot of love and affection to offer to anyone willing to open their heart to him and share a little bit of our journey together. We are responsible for him and always very careful, we'll make sure he never causes any problems on your property.
