Hello, I'm Elizabeth! I am a music teacher looking to spend this next year working developing my Spanish language skills before grad school. I am a friendly, enthusiastic individual who loves to meet people, experience new challenges, foods and cultures.

I have a passion for the arts and have experience teaching all band instruments, voice, dance and music composition. As a percussionist I am very interested in learning about music cultures around the world. I love connecting with people through music whether it be an exchange with experienced musicians or teaching beginners.

I am open to all types of experiences and cannot wait to be a volunteer at different host sites and connect with other travellers.

I can offer skills in the following areas:
- Music/Education (I have been a band director for the past 4 years and am trained in both instrumental and vocal music. I published a jazz transcription book in 2024.)
- Child Care ( I have 4 summers of experience nannying for a family of 3 girls and have been a camp counselor at a music camp for 3 summers)
- Dance ( I have danced my whole life and have 8 years of teaching expereince ranging from ballet to choreographing musicals.)
- Health and wellness skills such as vegan cooking, yoga, hiking
- Tidy, hard working and always approaches life with an open mind
