I am a single woman in my mid-50's. I have two children who are aged in their early 20's. I own my own accounting business in Cairns, Australia but because I am self employed I normally travel overseas in between work commitments. I have travelled extensively during the past 30 years and love staying with local families so I can experience their day to day lives. I grew up on a farm in New Zealand surrounded by cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, cows and sheep. When I travelled through the UK, Europe and the Middle East in my 20's I regularly stayed in hostels for free in return for helping the owners, which included promoting local tours, helping to cook local cuisine and chatting to guests. I also spent time in Israel volunteering on two different Kibbutz which included collecting eggs and cleaning rooms at a resort. Two years ago I volunteered at a hostel in Malaysia and I also do ongoing volunteer work in Cairns, where I live.

I can drive a car, farm equipment and a motorbike. I am fluent in English and am willing to give anything a go. I am in my mid 50's and have travelled extensively throughout the world (and am still travelling!) I love experiencing different cultures and have spent time living in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Turkey, and Israel. I have also experienced local family daily living in many countries incuding Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Turkey and Israel.
I also have office and computer skills.
