I am a former physics teacher with 20 years of experience in the classroom at the college level; I have a PhD in theoretical physics from Penn State University (US). I have some experience with computer programming in Python. I have also done some volunteer work with a bicycle advocacy group, a local baseball team, an organic farm, and a hostel.

I enjoy reading about science and history, as well as science fiction. During summer 2023, I completed a solo bicycle trip from Rhode Island to Oregon. I like playing board games, including Eurogames (such as Terraforming Mars, Alhambra, and Pandemic).
