About Me
After nearly 20 years of juggling career and family, I'm embracing a new chapter—one where I can reconnect with myself, nature, and the world beyond my everyday routine.
I'm an Irish woman (with both UK and Irish passports) who's lived and worked in France, Italy, and Africa, so I understand both the magic and the challenges of life abroad. Now, with my children more independent, I'm carving out time for experiences that truly nourish me: revitalising my once-fluent Italian, immersing myself in different cultures, and grounding myself through meaningful work connected to the land and seasons.
What Makes Me Come Alive
There's nothing quite like a sunset viewed from somewhere new, a glass of wine from local vineyards, deep conversations over simple, delicious food, and long walks with stunning views. I love learning—about people, places, and different ways of living—and I'm happiest when I feel deeply connected to both nature and the people around me.
My first Workaway experience was wonderful, and I'm excited to be back for more enriching exchanges.
What I Can Offer
I'm competent and reliable around the house: cooking, cleaning, tidying, some gardening, and helping with DIY projects. I'm used to managing a busy household and wearing many hats. More importantly, I'm genuinely happy to try new things, learn new skills, and receive feedback as I go.
I bring good humour, a willing spirit, and genuine curiosity about how you do things. I value meaningful connection and always leave a place better than I found it.
