My name is Anais, I’m a Swiss cookie who has been living in the UK for quite some years now. I am a trained actor who specializes in Physical Theatre and also a ski instructor during the Winter periods.
I am interested in a load of things notably permaculture, movement therapy and community living. I love learning new things and meeting people from all walks of life.

I spent two weeks with these beautiful people working on their respective projects on the land and had a grand time.
We had big passionate chats and good laughs - what else could you want ?

I spent a couple weeks with Andrew and I found the place to be absolutely beautiful. The work was great and he was super open for us to manage our own schedule which gave the volunteers a lot of freedom. The people living in the valley were also super nice.

Anais spent a week with us, with her friend, Sebastien. They worked so hard during very hot summer weeks in Queensland, clearing heavily weeded areas, covering in cardboard and heavily mulching, in preparation for planting natives. Suella and John are absolute legends! We had a grand time with them both and were super happy with the tasks given in the garden. If you are interested in spending a workaway with great people and learning about gardening on this side of Australia: this is the place to be !

I stayed at the sanctuary for 4 months and had a grand time! Well organized working schedules, empowering space to learn new skills, fantastic company and a beautiful spot.

Had a great experience staying with Hassan. A fantastic man with deep kindness. I would recommend helping him in his project and get to share a bit of his way of life.
