My name is Meike, im 40 years old now and I feel like I'm sort of in the middel of my life. I decided to quit my job and together with my friend Anna, go explore the world. See, taste, hear, feel other cultures. I've traveled to country's like Canada, Peru, Morocco. But i'v always had a home to come back to. This time we don't have this. Great adventure
People would describe me as a pleasant person to be around. Im not quiet, mostly cheerful. And I think im funny. Most of all I'm creative and adventurous. But who's not on this platform :-)

My name is Anna, I'm 33 years old. I used to work as am art therapist and at the moment I am traveling and living in different places. I like to help out with outside jobs, garden, wood, heavy work, make art. I would like to learn new skills and experience different cultures. It's my 3rd time to travel long term and I am curious about what this journey will bring.

Starting October 5th, we fly to dakar en that's the only thing we know or decided for now. From there, well see..

Sure we have dreams and we made a list of tings like: drum the local drum, learn from a local artist, and so much more.

We have a budget on witch we think we can travel for at least one year. This is, when we work our way around. This we would like to do half of the time. But sure we can make commitments for working weeks or months at one place. We have work away (Helpx) experience. I of those places was at a farmhouse. This experience made us decide this is a way that suits us to make this a big part of our way to travel the world.

Did I tell you sailing makes me so happy? I've sailed the ocean from France to Morocco. My dream is to cross the Atlantic, from Cape Verde or...?
This would be the best time! and I know all the conns and risks. Just be at the ocean, freedom, simplicity. It makes my heart pound
