Ciao! We are a young couple eager to travel, learn new skills, and meet new people. We met three years ago while earning our bachelor's degrees in environmental biology in New York State. We are both knowledgeable about forestry, soil, plant diseases, and caring for trees. We are passionate hikers, gardeners, and outdoor enthusiasts. Alannah has previous Workaway experience from 2018-2020, having traveled to Malta, Rome, Portugal, and Hawaii, and she loved every moment of it! We are particularly interested in finding a host where we can both contribute and learn a new or useful skill, such as winemaking, house restoration, permaculture, and more. Alannah speaks fluent English and Danish, and Clay speaks fluent English and intermediate Spanish (and we would both love the opportunity to improve our Spanish!). We both have experience working in hospitality (bartending, working in hostels, barista, working in kitchens). Additionally we have planning, planting, and harvesting gardens and taking care of some farm animals (chickens, goats etc.). Alannah has several years of experience in child care and both of us love to cook!
