For my Bachelors degree I studied German, as well as living in Germany for 2 years in total. I taught English as a foreign language at two different schools, so have experience teaching to a large age range. I can help with the learning of English, and would be keen to sharpen up my German skills!

I am a newbee to workaway, but I am enthusiastic to learn everything I can! I enjoy gardening, cooking and spending time in nature. Previously, I have taught English as foreign language twice in Germany in schools and thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Alongside this, I looked after the children when I lived with a host family during my first year there. Here we played games, I cooked for them and picked them up for kindergarten. This was great fun and enriching as I got to experience a different culture and way of life first hand.

Although my experiences abroad are teaching related, I would love to find peace through helping in any manual work that is available, and am interested in cultural exchanges where possible. I am a friendly and motivated individual, who likes to bring a smile wherever she goes.

I am a friendly and outgoing individual who values time with others but understands the need to be by oneself. I love to read, and am particularly fond of mysteries and thrillers. I got the opportunity to live in the Bavarian countryside for a year, and have been wanting to get back to nature ever since. In my free time I really enjoy hiking (although mostly at a leisurely pace!), and love to feel close to nature.
