I currently work full-time in the UK for the Rivers Trust. I am passionate about animals, nature, and being outdoors and I love travelling and experiencing new things and challenges. I previously spent 3 years in Canada working and volunteering through Workaway. I am now looking for shorter term opportunities in Europe to see more of this beautiful Continent, explore its nature, and meet new people.

I am open minded and eager to help and gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of life. I enjoy working with my hands, and am keen to learn skills that I can take with me and use in my own life. I enjoy meeting new people with different ideas, philosophies and approaches to life.

I spent 6 weeks in South Africa gaining a level 1 FGASA Field Guide qualification. I have a degree in conservation biology and a masters in GIS. I worked as a landscaper for 1 year. I have previously done work away volunteering with sled dogs, on homesteads, caring for farm animals and assisting with building projects in Canada. I have basic carpentry skills, which I am looking to expand upon. I enjoy working with my hands and being outdoors.

Will was a pleasure to have around, good humour and motivated to work. He was able to take initiative and solve problems on his own. More into beer and pot than local food. I left Jonathan's recently after 2 great weeks staying and working with him. Jonathan is an incredibly unique and interesting person and i thoroughly enjoyed my time with him. He provides stimulating conversation and i feel like i learnt a lot from him about harvesting from the land and sustainable living. Thank you Jonathan.
