Hello everyone 😁,
My name is Alexis. I'm half French and half Lao. I was born in France but have lived in Dublin, Ireland for the past seven years.
During those years, I had the chance to travel for a few months all around Southeast Asia (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam). After that backpacking trip, I settled in Australia on a working holiday visa and then moved back to Ireland.
In Ireland, I initially worked as a waiter, then as a manager in a fine dining restaurant. Most recently, I have been the general manager of a vegetarian café which also had a yoga studio.
I love traveling because I feel that discovering more about different cultures and people is like discovering parts of the human experience that I haven't developed myself due to where I previously lived. It's like learning about myself, haha.
I'm also really interested in personal development as I see myself working in that field in the future. My interests range from meditation (introduced through Vipassana retreats), different types of yoga practices and breathwork, martial arts (karate, muay Thai, and kickboxing) that I have practiced, as well as philosophy and religion.

Being native speaker french I could teach the basics of it, I've also lived in English speaking country for the past 7 years so my level is good enough to teach too. Everywhere I traveled I always tried to learn a little bit about the language of the country so I'm always opened to learn !!

I’m a pretty handy person who like to fix things on my own. With an athletic build and growing up on my nanny's farm, I could be helpful at farm work and heavy-duty tasks.
I've also worked as a restaurant and cafe manager, so I have solid social and management skills. Whether it’s helping out around the house, doing farm work, or anything in between, I’m ready to pitch in and get the job done! On top of that I'm a really good chef and could prepare some delicious meals 😋
