Hello!

I'm a 23 year old girl from the northenmost city in Sweden, Kiruna.

At the moment I'm stydying a master of science at Uppsala University. However, I'm planning on takning a gap year from November. During my year off I'm hoping to gain new experiences while traveling and meeting new exciting people.

I'd love to find a place where I can spend a lot of time outside. I like to think of myself as a hard working and positive person who always does my best! Treating all people with respect and kindness is very important for me. Moreover, growing up alongside dogs really made me care for all animals and their well being, and as a result I embraced the vegan lifestyle.

I'm an active person who loves spending time in nature doing all kind of activities such as hiking and skiing. If I'm not outdoors you can probably find me wrapped up in a blanket watching a good movie or series.

Traveling and exploring new places has always been a passion of mine! Therefore I am very excited to try the workaway life and I look forward to this opportunity to meet people from all around the world and learn from them.

I study molecular biotechnology engineering at Uppsala University and I have just finished my bachelor's and took the opportunity to take a gap year before continuing with my master's. During my three years of studying I have been working ideally to arrange multiple events such as a career fair and the reception of new students.

I have always loved my hometown Kiruna much because of the surrounding nature. Therefore I like to spend the summers there working in the iron ore mine. Usually I also spend a lot of time in my cottage in the middle of nowhere, without running water and electricity. Here I enjoy activities such as chopping wood and carrying water to the sauna, the perfect way to relax after a long week of work in the mine.
