Dear travelers and hosts,
we are Tina and Valentin and happy you found our profile!

Val:
Since I finished school in 2019 I spent a fair amount of time traveling with WorkAway and WWOOF to gain insight and experience working with nature.

During these last years I utterly fell in love with Norway, helped lambs in Finnmark to see the light of day, witnessed the northern lights and the midnight sun in Tromsø, babysitted in the Lillehammer area, nearly died in Kenya due to dehydration and a very sick tummy, discovered that I'm neurodivergent, was inspired by self-sufficiency and found refuge in buddhism.

I put my nose into several studies and jobs and worked half a year in a community supported agriculture. I currently aspire to start an apprenticeship program to become a librarian:)

My focus is on living a minimalistic, mindful and peaceful life while participating as little as possible in the capitalist feedback loop from hell.
I consider traveling, working with nature, genuine human connections and, essentially, the enjoyment of food amongst warm hearted people in a beautiful landscape the themes of which I want to base my life on.

Tina is an artist by heart who loves the forest, animals and collecting trinkets of all kinds. She has a graphic design degree and a passion for drawing, jewelry design and art in general. She is currently an aspiring dental technician where she learns a lot about working with different materials. In her childhood she spent a lot of time helping her grandparents in their abundant vegetable and fruit garden.
In the past she traveled mostly to Croatia and Greece where her two families have their roots. Now she wants to travel and discover more and connect with like minded people.
