Hello! We are Timo and Sofia. We are passionate young travelers with a desire to explore the world, connect with people and to experience different cultures. We both throughly enjoy the simple things in life, whether its good healthy food, sunsets or kitties running around.
Im Sofia! 21 y/o Mexican american Tattoo artist by trade, very in tune with my spiritual side, partaking in lots of wellness practices like yoga, breathwork and meditation. I value honesty, openness and deep connections. I have a profound admiration for Madre Tierra (mother earth) and all her wonders. I always love engaging in provoking conversations with people to connect on a real, vulnerable, authentic and deep level. My connection to god is very important to me, and I believe in leading a life filled with love, adventure and grace. I love to be outdoors in the sun or rain and expand my knowledge on natural plant medicines, herbalism and ecosystems. We both value healthy living, and honoring our temples by eating healthy foods and prioritizing movement/fitness. That being said we both love to cook;)
Im Timo! 23 y/o Student, studying cultural communications and anthropology at the University of Toronto. I love to connect with nature and I am a HUGE animal lover (I try to pet every animal that looks at me😅). I've been travelling since I was a teenager and it's developed into my passion due to having beautiful experiences with so many places and so many faces a long the way. I absolutely love to cook, I worked as a sous-chef for 4 years so cooking is somewhat second nature to me. I specifically love to cook healthy meals because I am very conscious of what I put in my body. I have done quite a bit of Workaway's involving language exchanges, bio-construction, permaculture, animal care, babysitting, and a bit more. I would like to consider myself as a Swiss Army knife because I can do a little bit of everything! I have travelled to 25 countries and have learned countless lessons and knowledge from the countries themselves and the people within them. I hope to contribute in any way I can wherever I end up!
