Hello hello and welcome to my profile 😊

My name is Theo, I’m 27 and just finished my Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, so now is the perfect time for a liiiiiittle (long) trip around the world! 🌎

Basically, I want to see everything this world has to offer and everything I can offer to this world. And to all of you out there! 👉🏻😉👉🏻

I grew up with 3 languages at home, since my French mom and German dad would speak to each other in English. I really love languages as a way to connect with people from around the world, so I picked up some decent Spanish and Japanese, as well as a little bit of Greek now, since I will stay here for a few months.

I've been teaching languages, maths & kickboxing to kids, teenagers and adults alike during my studies, and I'd love to keep learning even more things in order to then share them with others 🤝(i.e. you?). Skills I want to acquire include permaculture, drone flying, surfing, motorbiking, sailing, woodworking, etc.

I’m full of energy and open to any social or manual work— in a hostel, on farms, with families, animals, building projects, you name it. I’m reliable, positive, and always happy to help, especially when it comes to creating a fun atmosphere!

Gardening & Outdoor Work
Grew up helping at our family cabin—chopping wood, lighting fires, gardening, painting. Comfortable with physical work and happy to get my hands dirty.

Construction, DIY, Engineering
Helped renovate a few houses, so no problems with moving stuff around, painting, sanding, using tools, basic repairs, DIY builds, also 3D printing, Li-Ion / LFP batteries, and entry-level engineering tasks. Eager to learn more about sustainable building, off-grid systems, and permaculture.

Sports, Childcare & Teaching
Muay Thai / Kickboxing instructor (licenced trainer) for kids, teens, and adults. I love making movement fun, safe, and structured, and enjoy doing some calisthenics workouts. Also experienced in tutoring (math, science, languages), and babysitting.

Project Management & Events
Organized schedules, events, and team coordination. I also love hosting social events and parties—planning, logistics, and keeping the vibe alive.

Cooking
Love cooking for groups— balanced vegetarian, vegan, meat-based meals. I enjoy experimenting and adapting recipes to what's available.

Computer & Online Skills
I know my way around a computer. Proficient in CAD (engineering background), Microsoft Office, social media management, basic video editing, and content creation.

Languages & Communication
Fluent in German, French, and English. Conversational in Spanish and Japanese, learning Italian and Greek. I enjoy cultural exchange and feel at ease in multilingual environments.

Music
10+ years of piano playing—happy to share, jam, or just bring some music into the mix. I'm a bit rusty though and would need some practice to feel comfy before playing :D

Animal Care
No formal training, but confident and caring with animals—whether it’s feeding, cleaning, walking, or cuddling. Big or small, I love them all.

  I'm a little bit allergic to cats, but that has never stopped me from petting one! I've got my spray, so I'm good to go. But having cat hair directly on my pillow wouldn't be the best.
