Hey there,
I'm Tabea, 25, from Germany.
I've kinda always been travelling. From the yearly family summer holidays in European countries to 3 gap years with various odd workaway jobs in Ireland & Norway (a lot of housework, renovating, garden jobs, restoring an old boat, ...), a month long roadtrip in the US and hiking the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage in Spain a total of 3 times this far.

I like to go out there and see the world. I'm interested in nature, culture, art and music and especially people. You will really get to know me if there's a glass of wine and an openness to any conversation topic. I love exploring emotions and talking about human topics such as mental health. I'm an advocat for mental wellbeing and psychological support. After all, we're all struggeling with something.

In the last years I've bulit a career in hospitality. Currently I'm working as a Front Office Manager in a city / business hotel, leading a team of 8 young professionals and absolutely loving it. But as much as I do love caring for my team and organising the business, I really need to get away in my free time and meet new people. And that's why after 5 years, I'd love to get back to workaway-ing! :)

At my workaway stays this far I've done a lot of house work but also a lot of renovating and a whole lot of painting.
I've been working in a B&B in Ireland for 2 1/2 months where I've done basically everything from washing, cleaning, making the beds, breakfast shifts, to welcoming guests, ... After my first month here I also started to train the new workawayers which was a really great job and I'd say that I did quite good.

My family owns a small garden and therefore I've planted some carrots, salad, etc. when I was younger.

I really don't mind getting my hands dirty. I love learning new things and practicing new skills. After all, there's always a tutorial on youtube, right?
