Hello! I'm Sofia, a 20-year-old from Zocca, a small town in northern Italy. I currently live alone in Bologna, where I'm studying Linguistic Mediation with the goal of becoming an interpreter.
I have a variety of hobbies that keep me busy and fulfilled. I enjoy playing the piano, reading, and I’m very passionate about fitness – whether it’s going to the gym or taking long walks in nature. I would describe myself as an optimistic and kind person, always eager to challenge myself and make new friends.
Traveling is one of my biggest dreams, and I’m excited about the opportunity to explore the world through Workaway. I believe it’s a great way to connect with different cultures, learn new things, and contribute to meaningful projects.

I am currently studying to become a professional interpreter, focusing on English and French. This academic background has given me strong language skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in different cultural contexts. I have also gained practical experience in several areas through various jobs.
I’ve worked as a waitress in a restaurant, as a receptionist in a hotel, and as a babysitter, where I’ve learned to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, interact with people of all ages, and manage multiple tasks at once. I’ve also provided language tutoring for students, helping them improve their skills in English and French.
I am particularly strong in teamwork, as I enjoy collaborating with others to reach common goals. I am highly organized, adaptable to new situations, and I have a strong critical thinking ability that allows me to solve problems quickly and effectively. Additionally, my communication skills are one of my strengths, both in speaking and in writing, which helps me engage with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
I am always eager to learn and take on new challenges, and I believe my diverse skill set will help me contribute meaningfully to any project I join!
