I have decided to make the big move to New Zealand! Before I settle down and look for a job, I will be solo in December 2025 and am looking to fill most of the month at a workaway! I travelled to New Zealand /did workaway in 2023 and fell in love with the community, the people and of course the scenery. I will have my own vehicle and am ideally looking for farm/labour/child care/animal care. I have just come off my 3rd season with British Columbia Wildfire and am looking to decompress after a busy fire season. I am no stranger to hard work, heavy lifting or getting dirty. I am also a CrossFit coach and coach kids swimming:)

Que habilidades tienes?

I have a Master's Degree in Environmental Science, with experience working in the fish habitat/restoration sector, as well as a wildland firefighter for 4 years. I have also worked in the service industry for over 10 years (weddings, serving, sports events, and retail at Lululemon). I have also been coaching CrossFit and was the head coach for my swim team. I have also nannied for numerous families. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the water, trail running, going to cafes and spending time with animals.

I love working with animals, especially with horses and dogs (also a cat lover). I was a stable hand and a groom as a teenager and I am keen to get back into it!

I really prioritize my health and staying active. Having access to activities like mountain biking, trial running, swimming etc is a plus!
