Me considero una persona tranquila y pacífica, algo tímida e introvertida, a pesar de lo cual disfruto mucho de salir con amigos y conocer gente nueva. Creo que soy solidaria y empática, desde los 12 años hasta los 17 participé en actividades de voluntariado organizadas por el colegio en el que estudié, en las que hacíamos diversas cosas como ayudar en construcciones o arreglos de viviendas, pintar escuelas, construir juegos para niños, asistir a instituciones que trabajaban con personas en situaciones de vulnerabilidad, entre otras actividades. Estas experiencias me marcaron mucho y creo que han reforzado algunos rasgos de mi personalidad.
Soy muy familiera, disfruto mucho pasar tiempo con mi familia. Viví siempre en ciudades pequeñas (me mudé varias veces). Desde que soy pequeña tuve un vínculo estrecho con el campo porque mi familia se dedica a actividades ganaderas. Por esto, siempre estuve en el entorno de los caballos y me gustan mucho. Actualmente estoy culminando mi tecnicatura en Gestión de Equinos en la Universidad de la Empresa de Uruguay.
No he viajado mucho, pero siempre fue algo que me atrajo. Hace unos años viajé a Europa y esa experiencia me motivó a pensar formas para poder viajar y conocer lugares. Comencé a buscar maneras de lograrlo y fue ahí que me encontré con Workaway. Me gustó mucho la idea porque me permitiría conocer lugares que siempre quise visitar y crear experiencia con caballos, que es en lo que me gustaría trabajar. Ya tengo algunos países vistos, como Islas Canarias, Portugal, Irlanda, Suecia y Laos, pero estoy abierta a otras opciones.

I consider myself a calm and peaceful person, somewhat shy and introverted, despite which I really enjoy going out with friends and meeting new people.I also believe that I am supportive and empathetic, from the age of 12 to 17 I participated in volunteer activities organized by the school in which I studied, in which we did various things such as helping in constructions or housing arrangements, painting schools, building games for children, attending institutions that worked with people in situations of vulnerability, among other activities. These experiences marked me a lot and I think they have reinforced some traits of my personality.
I am very family; I really enjoy spending time with my family. I always lived in small towns (I moved several times). Since I was little, I had a close link with the countryside because my family is dedicated to livestock activities. Because of this, I was always in the environment of horses and I like them very much. I am currently completing my technician in Equine Management at the Universidad de la Empresa in Uruguay.
I haven't traveled much, but it was always something that appealed to me. A few years ago, I traveled to Europe and that experience motivated me to think of ways to travel and get to know places. I started looking for ways to achieve it and that's when I came across Workaway. I really liked the idea because it would allow me to know places that I always wanted to visit and create experience with horses, which is what I would like to work on. I already have some countries seen, such as Canary Islands, Portugal, Ireland, Sweden and Laos, but I am open to other options.

Me encantaría aprender el idioma de todos los países que visite, al menos un nivel básico. Se que algunos de los lugares que planeo viajar tienen idiomas mas difíciles, pero estoy interesada en aprender, aunque sea oraciones simples y básicas. I would love to learn the language of all the countries I visit, at least a basic level. Una de las cosas en las que siento que me desempeño bien es en las tareas con los caballos. Para empezar, tengo muy buen vínculo con ellos, me siento muy cómoda tanto andando como en cualquiera de las tareas de cuidado, darles de comer, cepillarlos, ensillarlos, etc. Desde pequeña me gustan y como tuve la suerte de que en mi casa siempre hemos tenido caballos he podido aprender desde chica a relacionarme con ellos. Varias de nuestras yeguas están en casa casi desde que yo nací y tenemos tanto con ellas como con los potrillos que han nacido una relación muy estrecha. Tengo 3 hermanas, pero yo soy la que más me encargo de ayudar con los caballos. Actualmente estoy finalizando una tecnicatura en Gestión de Equinos en la que aprendí desde las cuestiones más básicas relativas a la anatomía de los caballos, la conformación equina, las razas, la cría y reproducción, hasta lo que hace a la gestión y el marketing del negocio equino. También aprendí un poco sobre herrado, odontología y manejo de equinos.
En cuanto a otras tareas vinculadas al campo, cuando estoy en mi casa ayudo a mis padres en todo, desde reparar alambrados, porteras, etc, limpiar el galpón, ordenar los recados, se también manejar el tractor, ayudo un poco en la quinta, y también se trabajar con ganado que es lo que más disfruto.
Otra de las cosas en las que me desempeño bastante bien y que además me gusta es en la cocina. Al igual que con los caballos, desde niña me divierte cocinar, siempre colaboro en la tarea de hacer la comida y desde que me fui a vivir sola con una hermana y una amiga nos repartimos la tarea de cocinar. Cuando me toca a mi lo hago con mucho placer, me gusta ser creativa y preparar recetas a mi gusto. Soy un poco particular con los gustos en la comida no me gustan los aderezos, me gusta más bien la comida sana y sencilla.
Gracias al voluntariado que hice en mi ciudad soy bastante buena con los niños y me gusta pasar un rato con ellos. He trabajado cuidando niños de personas conocidas varias veces.
Mi lengua madre es el español. Además, he realizado estudios de inglés durante 6 años, por lo tanto, en este idioma me desempeño parcialmente bien (lo leo con bastante fluidez, pero como no me he enfrentado a situaciones donde deba hablarlo o escucharlo, me cuesta un poco más. De todas formas, logro entenderlo y expresarme con relativa facilidad).


One of the things I feel like I perform well at is in the tasks with the horses. To begin with, I have a very good bond with them, I feel very comfortable both walking and in any of the care tasks, feeding them, brushing them, saddling them, etc. Since I was little, I like them and as I was lucky that in my house, we have always had horses I have been able to learn since I was a child to relate to them. Several of our mares are at home almost since I was born and we have both with them and with the foals that have been born a very close relationship. I have 3 sisters, but I am the one who is most in charge of helping with the horses. I am currently finishing a technician in Equine Management in which I learned from the most basic issues related to the anatomy of horses, equine conformation, breeds, breeding and reproduction, to what it does to the management and marketing of the equine business. I also learned a little about shoeing, dentistry and equine handling.
As for other tasks related to the field, when I am at home, I help my parents in everything from repairing fences, porters, etc., cleaning the shed, tidying up the errands, also managing the tractor, helping a little in the fifth, and also working with cattle which is what I enjoy the most. Another thing in which I perform quite well and that I also like is in the kitchen. As with horses, since I was a child I have fun cooking, I always collaborate in the task of making food and since I went to live alone with a sister and a friend, we share the task of cooking. When it's my turn I do it with great pleasure, I like to be creative and prepare recipes to my liking. I am a bit particular with the tastes in food I do not like dressings, I like rather healthy and simple food.
Thanks to the volunteering I did in my city I am quite good with the children and I like to spend some time with them. I have worked babysitting people I know several times.
My mother tongue is Spanish. In addition, I have studied English for 6 years, therefore, in this language I perform partially well (I read it quite fluently, but since I have not faced situations where I must speak or listen to it, it costs me a little more. Anyway, I manage to understand and express myself with relative ease.)

Disfruto mucho escuchar música. Mis gustos son muy variados, escucho desde canciones de los 80 hasta canciones actuales.
También hice hockey 6 años. Es un deporte que disfruto mucho jugar. Además, disfruto mucho las caminatas.



I really enjoy listening to music. My tastes are very varied, I listen to songs from the 80s to current songs.
