Carolina stayed nearly 4 weeks with us in November to beginning December. During the intense weekend of coming to know the horses and the different itineraries Carolina showed to learn quite fast.
She was a big help to me exercising the horses and helping with mucking out.
She did not even deny to take the horses for a ride when the weather
… read more conditions turned quite harsh during a couple of days.
My "thank you" goes especially to the evenings when I was off and could not feed the horses, Carolina took over and helped me a lot with this.
For the social life within our family, Carolina adapted easily and was not demanding anything. What is a little minus (from our point of view): she gave us the impression of hiding away from us in her room, and there was just a minimum of monosyllabic answers from her - perhaps her way of politeness or just a question of personality.
Beside this, I can recommand Carolina, she proved being reliable with everything we asked her to help, and she was super sweet and gentle with all our animals here around. One of our cats "adopted" her :-)

Izabela was a great help with exercising our ponies/horses. Due to her large horse riding experience she quickly was very familiar with all their different characters and ways of being, and we were "on the same horse line" immediately.

I spent almost three weeks with Katharina and her family. I had an amazing time there. They were really friendly and welcoming. Almost immediately they made me feel like a member of the family.

In general, It was exactly how Katharina described it on Workaway. My working hours were quite flexible and I had plenty of free time, so I was able to catch up with my studies.

I really enjoyed my stay with Katharina and her amazing family! I loved getting to know the horses and spending many hours riding through the woods, fields and rivers. A true paradise for animal lovers💗 Thank you for everything!

Sara stayed two weeks with us and our horses and we were so happy about having her with us! The general communication before her arrival was very clear, she adhered to what we had agreed, everything was organized with a mature mind!
Sara learned very fast the horses' individual characters and organized her day in an independent and self-going

From her dealing with the horses you could see that she has got long years of experience with horses and riding, and though she is used to a different way of riding (not in English saddles in European way) she adapted very easily.
We had very enriching conversations with Sara learning quite a lot about her country and the mythic "mate" tea, and she prepared a delicious cheese cake for us, so yoummie!
Sara is a sunshine, very open-minded and with a big smile. We wish her an excellent continuation in her European experience, a lof of great workaway stays, and will be more than happy to see her back one day, here or maybe in Uruguay!

Regarding the horses, although I'm not used to the English saddle and the riding style here, I was finally able to get used to it and enjoy it.
She was really flexible with the work hours and gave me freedom to made my itinerary of work. It was exactly what she said on her profile, so that was great.
