I'm delighted to share that I recently graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Science degree in genetics and physiology. Throughout my personal and academic journey, I've had the opportunity to acquire a diverse range of skills and experiences that I believe can be valuable.

My involvement in Scouts has been incredibly influential in shaping my abilities. It has allowed me to develop construction skills, improve teamwork capabilities, and develop a deep appreciation for eco-friendly living. Whenever I get the chance, I find immense joy in exploring South Africa's breathtaking landscapes through hiking and camping, which helps me form a profound connection with nature. I also discovered a fulfilling hobby during the lockdown period: refurbishing old skateboards.

During my time at university, I was fortunate enough to lead the environmental committee of my residence. This role gave me the chance to champion various sustainability initiatives, including recycling programs, tree planting campaigns, and waste reduction strategies. Additionally, actively participating in litter clean-up efforts to preserve South African beaches has been extremely gratifying.

Effective communication is one of my strengths. Through representing my country in debating, I've sharpened my skills in expressing myself clearly and confidently. Being a qualified TEFL instructor and a native English speaker, I am confident in my ability to impart knowledge and connect effectively with others.

Furthermore, I've gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry by working at renowned resorts like St Regis Aspen. This exposure has further polished my interpersonal skills and customer service abilities, allowing me to adapt well to diverse professional settings.

Above all, I'm driven by an unwavering passion for continuous learning, adaptability, and embracing new experiences. Thriving in diverse environments, I constantly seek opportunities for personal and professional growth. With an insatiable curiosity and a willingness to explore uncharted territories, I'm excited to make a meaningful impact wherever life takes me.

Jogging is my go-to activity for mental clarity and staying physically active. Dancing with friends brings me immense joy, especially when accompanied by good music. As an occasional reader, I'm currently engrossed in "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. Additionally, I have a fondness for pets, and I enjoy taking my dog, Lola, for leisurely walks.
